My Story...
For me growing up, I was always exposed to the visual. I watched a ton of movies, played lots of video games, and absolutely loved art. I had always wanted to be a painter, but it wasn't until I was in junior high when I realized that was definitely not something I was good at. But what I was good at was taking interesting looking photos.

I had taken a photo on my iPod in Jackson Hole, WI, of a gorgeous forest during golden hour, I had shown it to my mom who told me I should become a photographer, and I was smitten with it. Ever since then, I've been photographing everything in sight.

Now, 8 years later, I've graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in photography, I have an amazing husband who's my right hand man, pose guy, and best friend. We have a cute puppy named Toby who's basically our child, and we live in Ogden, Utah. My favorite things to photograph are people and landscapes, and I'm excited for you to follow along in my journey!
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
Photography is one of the most beautiful inventions that has ever existed. Just the idea of capturing what is right in front of you with chemicals, technology, and light is something so special. I love being able to travel, see amazing things in front of me and capture it and freeze the moment in time. Whether that's with a landscape for me to view and print, or a loving couple that gets to hold onto their memory forever, I want to be the storyteller that freezes special moments in time forever.
I specialize in portrait photography, i.e. weddings, families, seniors and missions, anniversaries, as well as landscape and nature photography. I love to travel for any occasion and be a part of your special moment in time, as well as share the beautiful places that I've been through digital or printed copies. My goal in life is to see as much as I can before my time is up, and I believe that travel is one of the happiest and most rewarding thing that you can do. Let me be the photographer that will allow your future self to travel back to one of the happiest moments of your life.
